Step 1:
Connect & Prepare
Find a comfortable place where you feel at ease. Connect the cuffs with the hose set. Pay close attention to the colors and lengths of the plugs to ensure the correct order: The dark gray plug belongs to the dark gray connection at the top of the cuff (shortest hose). From there, work your way down step by step with the light gray cuff plugs. Now close the hose cover. Then plug the power cord from the control unit into the outlet and place the control unit nearby.
Connect & start
Step into the cuffs while standing, sitting, or lying down and fully close one of the three zippers. The cuff should not be too tight; there should be some space between your leg and the cuff. Lay the zipper pull flat down to activate the locking mechanism. The cuff is now securely closed. Connect the connector at the end of the hose to the control unit. Make sure the arrows on the connector are pointing upwards when plugging it in.
Customize & tailor specifically
Using the control unit or remote control, you manage the application:
- Time: Determines the duration of the application
- Pressure: Adjusts the intensity of the compression
- Programs: Control the sequence and rhythm of the massage
- Numbers: Deactivate and activate individual chambers
- Interval: Sets the pause between two massage intervals (adjustable 0–50 sec.)
Hold: Determines how long the pressure is maintained in the chambers (adjustable 0–5 sec.)
The numbers 1–12 represent the individual air chambers. During inflation and deflation, the numbers blink. This way, you can see which air chamber is currently active. (Standard: all active, numbers light up blue). Press a number to deactivate the corresponding air chamber → the number goes out. Press again to activate → the number lights up again.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the differences between the Venen Engel 6 Premium, Venen Engel 8 Premium, and Venen Engel 12 Premium models?
The first difference lies in the number of air chambers:
- Venen Engel 12 Premium: 12 air chambers
- Venen Engel 8 Premium: 8 air chambers
- Venen Engel 6 Premium: 6 air chambers
In general, the more air chambers a device has, the finer, more even, and more targeted the compression massage can be.
The second difference lies in the range of functions:
The Venen Engel 12 Premium offers two additional massage programs and expanded settings:
- Hold function: Individual air chambers can be held under pressure to massage specific areas longer and more intensively.
- Interval function: The massage alternates between pressure and relief phases, providing a particularly varied massage effect.
- Individual pressure adjustment per chamber: Only with the Venen Engel 12 Premium can the pressure for each air chamber be adjusted separately. This allows the treatment to be tailored even more precisely to personal needs.
The Venen Engel 12 Premium thus offers the most extensive customization options and the most precise adjustment of compression massage in our range.
How do I connect the device correctly?
The hose system is easily connected to the control unit via the multi-plug. It's important that the hoses lie flat next to the device to protect the connection. Pay attention to the arrows on the black connector to ensure you insert it correctly into the control unit. The arrows should point upwards, towards the display.
What is the difference between the leg cuffs and the Lymph-Flow Pants?
The Lymph-Flow Pants massage the entire lower body – from the feet to the abdomen – providing a more comprehensive treatment compared to traditional leg cuffs. The leg cuff treats from the feet up to the thigh.
In general, we therefore recommend Lymph-Flow Pants.
However, if putting on and taking off pants is becoming increasingly difficult for you, we recommend the leg cuffs. They are easier to put on and take off and also offer the option to treat just one leg if needed.
How do I properly put on the Lymph-Flow Pants?
The Lymph-Flow Pants can be put on while standing, sitting, or lying down.
First, open the zippers so you can easily step into the pants. Then pull the Lymph-Flow Pants up until they fit comfortably at the crotch. If the pants reach over your chest, you can position them just below the chest. The belly area should be completely covered. Then close the Velcro straps at the belly.
Make sure the zipper is fully closed and the zipper pull is positioned downwards. This activates the zip-lock function.
It's not necessary for your feet to stick out of the pants. If the Lymph-Flow Pants are a bit too long, that's not a problem and does not affect the effectiveness of the application.
Once you have put on the Lymph-Flow Pants and are lying comfortably, connect the tubing system to the control unit.
After the application:
First, disconnect the tubing system from the control unit. The tubes remain attached to the cuff.
Then, undo the Velcro straps in the belly area and open the zippers on both sides. After that, you can easily take off the Lymph-Flow Pants while lying down, sitting, or standing.
How do I find the best program?
This model features 12 different massage programs – whether you prefer a targeted, broad, gentle, or intense massage. Switching programs during a session can be beneficial and pleasant to vary the stimuli. The most important thing is that it feels good.
How do I properly store the pants?
After use, the cuffs should be completely deflated, loosely folded, and stored dry. Avoid bending the tubes, and keep the tubing system connected to the cuff.
Do not expose the Venen Engel to direct sunlight or extreme heat or cold.
Tip: Keep the Venen Engel in a visible place. This way, you'll be regularly reminded to use it and can more easily incorporate it into your daily routine.
What pressure is suitable for me?
The right pressure setting is very individual. The individual pressure setting should be based on the tissue condition, the stage of edema, and personal tolerance.
Why individual adjustment is important:
Your tissue, your daily condition, your sensitivity, and your specific situation are unique. A pressure that is comfortable and effective for one person may be too strong or too gentle for another. Your own condition can also vary from day to day.
Our recommendation:
Consider the program sequences as a starting point for your personal journey of discovery. Try different pressure settings – feel free to start gently and gradually increase. Pay attention to how your body feels:
The application should be pleasant and promote your well-being, never uncomfortable or painful.
