At Venen Engel, we want our website to be easily usable for as many people as possible – regardless of technical requirements, limitations, or individual abilities.

That's why we adhere to recognized standards such as EN301549, as well as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, compliance level AA.
How we check accessibility
Our pages are regularly reviewed with tools that are also used in the development of accessible applications.
Google Lighthouse
Our website consistently achieves a score of 95 to 100% in the area of accessibility.
axe DevTools
For manual checks, we use axe – among other things, to check color contrasts, alternative texts, and focus behavior.
In addition, we take your system settings into account: If "Reduce Motion" is enabled on your device, we specifically disable animations. This way, access to Venenengel remains clear, reliable, and as barrier-free as possible, regardless of the device or individual needs.
Accessibility is a process
We continuously develop our website further – step by step.
Currently, we are working on subtitles for videos, so that content is easily understandable even without sound.
Our goal: Accessibility should not only meet standards but also provide noticeable help in everyday life.
