Indications
- Venen Engel compression stockings are suitable as an aid for prevention and supportive treatment of venous system diseases as well as lymphedema and lipedema.
- They are particularly effective against tired and heavy legs and reduce evening edema formation.
- With consistent use, they are capable of preventing or at least delaying a pathological venous insufficiency in predisposed individuals.
They are suitable for pregnant women as well as for some forms of initial distal insufficiency of the superficial veins in young or middle-aged people who have to stand a lot or are genetically predisposed.
Absolute Contraindications
- Peripheral arterial occlusive disease in an advanced stage.
- Severe pathological edema in the lower limbs.
- Septic Phlebitis
- Severe thromboses, such as Phlegmasia Coerulea Dolens
- Lymphatic inflammations
- Peripheral neuropathies in advanced stages (e.g., due to diabetes mellitus)
- Further disturbances of leg sensitivity
- Intolerance/allergies to the material of compression stockings
Relative Contraindications
- Ulcers and open wounds
- Oozing Dermatoses
- Immobility
- Stasis dermatitis
- Severe valve incontinence of the superficial and deep leg veins
- Deep vein thrombosis or acute thrombophlebitis
- Post-thrombotic syndrome
- Stockings with a silicone band may cause skin irritation in the case of an allergy to the material in question.
Warranty
The recommended usage duration of a medical compression stocking is, with proper handling, 6 months.
During this period, you have a warranty claim. This means that Venen Engel ensures that the properties guaranteed by the manufacturer in connection with the RAL quality mark (for example, graduated pressure gradient) are met for this period.
Warranty
In addition, you have a legal right to warranty. According to §§ 437 ff. BGB, Venen Engel is generally liable for all defects in the product that already existed at the time of sale – including those that are only noticed later.
Excluded from the warranty are defects that may arise from normal wear and tear (such as small fiber knots) or improper use.
Returns and Exchanges
You have a full right of return within 30 days of receipt of the stockings. If you wish to return or exchange an item, the packaging must be intact and the item must be in the same condition as you received it. You are welcome to try on the item. Please note that we do not accept items that are used, dirty, or items with missing original packaging. Returns that are not in order or do not meet these requirements are non-refundable.
Scope of delivery
Included in the delivery are the Venen Engel compression stockings and a donning aid.
Care Instructions
- You can wash the stockings in the washing machine at 30°C or by hand and then dry them in the dryer.
- Please do not iron the stockings.
- Avoid dry cleaning.
